A Gray Lens at KICHgallery

A Gray Lens

Venue: KICHgallery

Exhibition Dates: 22 August – 26 September

From sadness to learning how to see the world differently, A Gray Lens explores memories, experiences and feelings through different stages of life — from childhood and the world of objects, through transition and the loss of identity, to learning how to exist within society. Drawing on the Tree of Knowledge System of matter, life, mind and culture, the exhibition traces a journey of growing and finding meaning between the world around us and the world within, where gray exists not simply as sadness but somewhere between clarity and uncertainty, between what we understand and what remains unknown. Opening reception: 22 August (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM).

Residual Frequencies at Neu Contemporary

Residual Frequencies

Venue: Neu Contemporary

Exhibition Dates: 22 August – 27 September

"Bodies that once possessed volume are compressed into thin layers fused with the surface of the road... Yet the longer I look, the more vividly I sense another kind of life, one that feels even more present than when they were still breathing." NEU CONTEMPORARY is pleased to present Residual Frequencies, a solo exhibition by Arnont Nongyao exploring the lingering echoes of physical presence, memory and transformation, inviting viewers to pause, listen and look closely at the traces left behind on the asphalt of everyday life. Opening reception: 22 August (5:00 PM onwards).
